Our wells are designed to provide safe, permanent disposal of the saline-heavy wastewater streams generated by oil and gas development activity. Tervita strategically locates our salt water disposals in areas where there is a great deal of active wells which helps reduce transportation costs for our clients.

Salt water disposal is highly regulated in the oil and gas industry. Deep well disposal is permitted only in carefully selected areas and under stringent rules for siting and continual monitoring. Deep well operators must demonstrate that the fluids will remain isolated and fully contained within the well and rock formation.
